I spent 30 years making a home and a life for everyone else. Now I'm making a home and life for me.
I’m grateful:
That I don't have to cook him vegetarian meals any more. That the dogs sleep with me. That I haven't had to plunge the toilet once since he moved out. For my skills, and my job. For my phenomenal daughters. For my neighbors who look out for me and snow blow my driveway. For his friends who call and email me to tell me they support me. For candles. For chocolate. For my incredible friends and colleagues who call me, brought me lunch when he moved out, invite me to plays and movies and check in with me on the weekends. For coffee. For my students. That we survived eight years of George Bush.
Good for you!!!!!
Fabulous.
Woohoo! So very glad

You go, girl!

I really enjoy reading your posts.
Thank goodness! If he doesn’t like what you are writing, he doesn’t have to read it…..he wasn’t invited anyway!
